Alan Wayne Crouse of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday morning at home.  He was 62.

Mr. Crouse was born Oct. 17, 1956 to Robert Crouse and Beverly Powell Phipps.  He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1974.  He married Terri Lee Peterson Crouse June 3, 1977 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.  She passed away in March 2018.

Alan was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Whitesville Christian Church.  He was well-known for his sense of humor and great love of music.

Surviving family includes: mom, Beverly Phipps of Crawfordsville; son, Sean Crouse (Missy) of Clinton; sister, Sandie Crouse (Gail Spires) of Ft. Myers, Florida; three grandchildren, David Allison, Kendalyn Allison, and Austin Allison.

He was preceded in death by his father and his wife.

The Crouse family will remember his life with a gathering to be announced later.
